Friday's FOX29 Broadcast Block Party In Doylestown: What You Need To Know

What does Doylestown have in store for Friday's live broadcast from the Good Day Philadelphia crew at FOX29?

According to information from Discover Doylestown, there will be a giant block party from 7 to 10 a.m. on E. State Street from Pine Street to Main Street. The road will be closed throughout the show.

The live broadcast will be the kickoff of a series on FOX29 highlighting many of the great small towns around the Greater Philadelphia Region, according to Derrick Morgan of Discover Doylestown.

"More than 70 businesses, charities, cultural institutions, restaurants, and more will come together to showcase and highlight everything great and unique about Doylestown, in what is sure to be a festive atmosphere," he said.

The event is open to the general public, and there will be a variety of interactive opportunities along the street, including live artists and musical performances.

"Mike, Alex, Jen and the whole crew will be broadcasting LIVE from Doylestown, so come out to get your 5 minutes of fame on TV!," the organization's event announcement on Facebook said.

"Don't miss out on this amazing event that everyone will be talking about!," the organization said.
