Fundraiser Set For Tamanend Student, Mom, Killed In Rt. 611 Crash
Loved ones have launched a fundraiser for the family of a Tamanend student and his mother who were killed in crash on Rt. 611 Tuesday.

A Tamanend Middle School 9th grader and his mother were killed in a car crash on their way to church earlier this week, according to loved ones who have created an online fundraiser for funeral expenses.
Young Won and James Won were killed in a crash on Rt. 611 on Tuesday, March 20, loved ones said on the GoFundMe page created Thursday.
Police confirmed the double fatal crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. near the intersection with West Moreland Avenue, in front of Chapman Ford. Authorities said they're seeking witnesses of the crash.

The initial collision occurred between a 2008 silver Honda Civic, which carried both of the victims, and a 2003 Honda CR-V, police said. The CR-V was then struck by a Toyota Matrix. The other two drivers survived the crash.
It's not yet clear if the snowy weather played a role in the collision, police said.

The Wons "will be greatly missed by their family and friends," the fundraising page says.
Loved ones have set a fundraising goal of $25,000 and plan to give the money to the family to help with funeral expenses. The viewing will be on Monday, March 26 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm and the burial and ceremony on Tuesday, March 27, according to the family's GoFundMe page.
