Grim, Biehn & Thatcher Welcomes Two New Attorneys

Grim, Biehn & Thatcher of Perkasie, Pa., is pleased to announce that Alexis Nash and Michael Tuosto have joined the firm as full-time associates.

Nash provides a variety of legal services at Grim, Biehn & Thatcher, concentrating in estate planning and estate administration. A Philadelphia native, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Hollins University in Hollins, Virginia, and her Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Kline School of Law.

Nash began her legal career in the United States Air Force as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, commissioning as a First Lieutenant and ultimately achieving the rank of Major. During her eight years of military service, she served in multiple roles advising commanders on military justice, investigations, ethics, and operational law, and also served as a prosecutor in courts-martial. In 2015, she deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan, where she advised the four-star command for U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan on matters involving administrative, intelligence, and operational law.

After leaving active duty, Nash served as Assistant General Counsel with the General Services Administration, where she primarily advised on information technology contracts and real estate matters. She is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented counsel and looks forward to supporting clients through every phase of the estate administration process.

Tuosto, a resident of Doylestown, earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Quinnipiac University and a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Before entering private practice, Tuosto served five years as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he worked as a defense attorney in Norfolk, Va., and as an appellate attorney in Washington, D.C.

Following his military service, Tuosto served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting criminal cases from investigation through trial, including preliminary hearings, pre-trial motions, and multiple jury trials. He practices in the firm’s municipal law department and continues to apply the discipline and work ethic developed during his military service to his legal practice. He is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association and the American Legion.
