Help Pick Doylestown Borough's New Parking Meters

What kind of "smart" parking meter model should Doylestown Borough choose? You can help decide.

Doylestown Borough officials are currently deciding what kind of new "smart" parking meter model to select for the downtown area. And you can help them pick with your feedback.

Through March 17, the new parking meter models under consideration are on display in the lobby of Borough Hall for public inspection. Residents will be able to view the meters up close, provide feedback and even give them a try, according to an announcement from the borough.

The move to implement new "smart" meters was part of a series of recommendations issued last year by the borough's Parking Meter Study Committee. The meters will accept credit cards with fees accepted via cell phone.
