Heritage Conservancy Asks You to Share Your Love of Our Historic Places and Open Spaces

Get involved in the Conservancy's social media "heart bomb" campaign to spread the love for our beautiful natural and historic heritage.

Doylestown, PA, January 18, 2017: Valentine’s Day is a day to express love and affection for those you care about, including the greatest love of all: our natural and historic heritage. Heritage Conservancy, an accredited not-for-profit land conservation and historic preservation organization located in Doylestown, PA, is encouraging community members to give our open spaces and historic places some love this Valentine’s Day by participating in a social media “heart bomb” campaign from February 1st through February 14th.

Community members can send virtual Valentines to their favorite landscapes in Bucks and Montgomery counties by snapping a photo and then sharing it on social media with the hashtag #showusyourheart. Make sure the post is made public so Heritage Conservancy can find it—all posts will be entered into a drawing to win an Aldie Mansion guided tour for 4 people and a hardback copy of The Story of Aldie (combined value: $100).

With so many charming historic structures, beautiful rolling farmland, and wooded habitat in our area, there will be no shortage of landscapes to celebrate and appreciate. If you feel fortunate to live in such a unique area, then shout it from the rooftops! Or just get involved in Heritage Conservancy’s “heart bomb” campaign.
