Heritage Conservancy to Host Seminar That Focuses on Reducing Carbon Footprint
Due to its focus on our natural environment and the effects of human impact, the Conservancy is pleased to offer this seminar to the public.

Heritage Conservancy, an accredited not-for-profit land conservation and historic preservation organization located in Doylestown, PA, will host “Staying Out of Landfills: Ways for Your Business to Achieve Greater Sustainability through Recycling and Diversion” on Thursday, February 16th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at its Alide Mansion headquarters, which is located at 85 Old Dublin Pike in Doylestown, PA. This seminar will discuss ways for your business to reduce its carbon footprint. Because of its focus on our natural environment and the effects of human impact, Heritage Conservancy is pleased to offer this seminar to the public
The seminar will feature a presentation by Dieter Scheel, VP and Business Development Manager of Sustainable Waste Solutions (SWS) of Souderton, PA. Scheel will discuss ways for businesses to improve their process of streamlining recycling practices and sustainably diverting waste from landfills.
SWS is a Landfill Free alternative for waste and recycling services for companies of all sizes throughout the Delaware Valley and surrounding region. Some of their clients include: Merck, Crayola, Just Born, Sam Adam’s PA Brewery, Johnson & Johnson, Hatfield Quality Meats, Asher’s Chocolates, and Ocean Spray. In addition to their advanced recycling techniques, SWS converts waste into energy through a state-of-the-art Energy-from-Waste (or "EfW") resource recovery facility.
