High-Friction Resurfacing To Begin On Several Highways In Bucks
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — High-friction resurfacing operations will begin on several state highways in Bucks County this week.
On Monday, Oct. 21, through Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., alternating lane closures with flagging will occur weekdays on the following state highways.
- Route 413 (Durham Road) between New Hope Road and York Road in Buckingham Township.
- York Road between Byecroft Road and Street Road in Buckingham Township.
- Ferry Road between Swamp Road and Gordon Road in Plumstead Township.
- Allentown Road between Ridge Valley Road and Thousand Acres Road in West Rockhill.
- Swamp Road between Rushland-Jamison Road and Mill Creek Road in Wrightstown.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

The work is part of a $4.9 million project to install High-Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) on several state highways across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, to provide increased friction and grip on pavements in wet and dry conditions.
