An Investigation Is Underway After A Man Died In Bucks County Jail On Saturday
The Bucks County Dept. of Corrections and county detectives are investigating the death of a man who was being held at the facility.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A man who was being held at the Bucks County jail died Saturday, a county spokesperson said Monday.
The man was taken to Doylestown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, James O’Malley confirmed to Patch. The man’s death is being investigated by Bucks County detectives and the Bucks County Department of Corrections, O’Malley said.
He did not identify the man or release any other details about his death “as it is an ongoing investigation.” A report by Levittown Now says the man was found with life-threatening injuries in the shower area of the Doylestown Township jail before he was taken to the hospital.

At least six people being held at the Bucks County jail have died in the past six years, including four who died by committed suicide and one who was killed, Levittown Now reports.
O’Malley could not immediately provide details about those deaths or investigations.
