DOYLESTOWN — The Central Bucks Police Department responded to numerous incidents and arrests during the month of May.

May 1

  • A 32-year-old Doylestown man was charged with assault following a domestic disturbance on May 1. The victim stated that the man had spit and struck them in the face multiple times leaving scratches and bruises. Police attempted to take the man into custody. He resisted, becoming physically agitated and defensive. Once in custody, the man was arraigned and bail was set at $50,000 with conditions. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison. A criminal complaint was filed.
  • A 25-year-old Southampton man was cited on May 1 for urinating in public on W. State Street, Doylestown Borough. A citation was issued.

May 4

  • A 35-year-old New Britain man and a 41-year-old Newtown woman were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a one vehicle accident in New Britain Borough.
  • Raul Suarez Victoris, 55, Trenton, was charged with corruption of minors on May 6 at 1:32 a.m. Police responded to a parking lot located at 555 N. Broad Street, Doylestown Borough, where they were met by three individuals, representing a vigilante group, who were filming an incident involving a male offender sitting in his vehicle. One individual in the group had posed as a 13-year-old male, “Osiel,” who received numerous texts and graphic pictures from the offender, Suarez-Victoria. Suarez-Victoria and “Osiel” arranged to meet in the parking lot for sex. Suarez-Victoria confirmed to the vigilante group that he was the person communicating with “Osiel.” Suarez-Victoria was taken into custody, arraigned and bail set at 10 percent, $50,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison
  • A 23-year-old Hanover Township man was cited for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on May 6 on West Court Street, Doylestown Borough. A citation was issued.
  • A 23-year-old Doylestown man was charged with DUI during a May 7 traffic stop on Green Street in Doylestown Borough. The driver presented with a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot glassy eyes and slurred speech. Police said he became argumentative and refused to complete field sobriety testing. He was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A criminal complaint was filed.
  • A 29-year-old Croydon man was cited on May 7 for possession of drug paraphernalia on South Main Street, Doylestown Borough. Police said the man was unsteady on his feet, appeared disoriented, was slow to respond and was somewhat confused. Police took the man into custody on an active warrant. While in custody contraband was located on his person. He was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A criminal complaint was filed.

May 10

  • A 36-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with assault for an incident on May 10 at Belmont Square, Doylestown Borough. The man refused to cooperate with police and actively resisted arrest. Once police were able to take him into custody he was arraigned, bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
  • A 38-year-old Doylestown woman was charged with DUI during a traffic stop on May 10 on South Main Street, Doylestown Borough. Police said the woman presented with glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. After she failed field sobriety tests she was taken into custody and transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw.

May 12

  • A 31-year-old Chalfont man was charged on May 12 with making a false report on April 16 about shots being fired on East Butler Avenue. The man told police that a male subject got into an argument with him outside of an establishment. He told police that the man then fired a gun at him causing the bullet to graze the side of his face. Further investigation revealed that the information reported was false. A criminal complaint has been filed.
  • A 23-year-old Doylestown woman was cited on May 12 with disorderly conduct after she vomited on the sidewalk in front of police. A citation was issued.

May 13

  • A 55-year-old Doylestown man was cited on May 13 with public drunkenness on W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough. When police responded to a well-being check, they found the man lying on the ground after he fell off of his bicycle. He had a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. EMS was called to transport him to Doylestown Hospital.
  • A 28-year-old Doylestown woman was cited on May 13 for trespassing on N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough. The woman was found inside of a residence that she did not have authorization to be in. She was taken into custody, arraigned, bail was unsecured with conditions. A criminal complaint was filed.

May 14

  • A 36-year-old Brookhaven man was charged on May 14 with DUI on W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough. Police stopped his vehicle when they noticed him driving on three flat tires. The man presented with bloodshot and glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol, and an unsteady gait. After failed sobriety tests, he was taken into custody and transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A criminal complaint was filed.

May 15

  • A 22-year-old Doylestown man was cited on May 15 with public urination on West State Street.

May 17

  • A 26-year-old Camp Hill man was cited May 17 on Marian Circle in Chalfont Borough for soliciting for The Exterior Company without a permit.

May 20

  • A 31-year-old Perkasie woman was cited May 20 with DUI on N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough. Police determined that the woman was driving on a suspended license, presented with bloodshot and glassy eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. After she failed field sobriety tests police transported her to Doylestown Hospital for a legal blood draw. A criminal complaint was filed.

May 22

  • A 43-year-old Doylestown man was charged on May 22 with trespassing on North Main Street. Police responded to a complaint from someone who stated that a man was on their property yelling and throwing items on the ground. Police tried to speak with the man who refused to cooperate. He then entered the complainant’s home and walked into the back yard before returning home. A criminal complaint was filed.
  • A 35-year-old Doylestown resident was charged with a drug violation on May 22 on East Butler Avenue. The man was charged after a traffic stop and was taken into custody.

May 23

  • A 34-year-old Perkasie woman was charged on May 23 with DUI on S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough. The woman presented with bloodshot eyes, unsteady gate, and slurred speech. After she failed field sobriety tests, she was taken to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A criminal complaint was filed.
  • A juvenile was cited for soliciting for Ecoshield Pest Solutions without a permit on May 23 on Deerpath Road, Chalfont Borough.

May 24

  • A 19-year-old Norristown man was cited for soliciting for Echoshield Pest Solutions without a permit on Birchwood Road, Chalfont Borough. Citations were issued.

May 25

  • A juvenile was cited for soliciting for Ecoshield Pest Solutions without a permit on May 25 on Jasen Drive, Chalfont Borough. Citations were issued.
  • A 40-year-old West Chester, N.Y., man was arrested May 25 on identity theft charges. The man was trying to withdraw money from an account using false identification at a bank on North Main Street, Doylestown. The man was taken into custody, arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
