Man Wanted On Felony Arson Charge Arrested In Warrington

When police found him sitting on a curb, he told police he was homeless and had walked to the township from Cheltenham.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man is facing a felony arson charge after he was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Warrington.

On Feb. 27 at about 4:20 p.m., Warrington Township Police arrested Peter Redding, 70, after he was seen sitting on a curb in the area of Metro Drive and Regal Cinemas.

When police approached, Redding said he was homeless and had been walking from Cheltenham

Police confirmed Redding's identity and conducted a records check, which revealed that he had an active felony one arson warrant out of Philadelphia

Redding was placed under arrest and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility to await further action.
