Marshall's and Target and Home Goods (Oh My!)

Doylestown has been getting its share of the retail spotlight over the past few weeks.

• Marshall's and Home Goods opened in the Cross Keys Shopping Center last week, moving into the former Giant location (which moved a few doors down to the former Kmart location)
• Whole Foods will open in the former Marshall's location in the Barn Plaza on 611
• Target confirmed they'll open a smaller footprint store in the former Bon-Ton/Mercantile in the Doylestown Shopping Center

And let's not forget the Wawa nearing completion near the Cross Keys intersection on Easton Road.

What's next for the area?

• The closing of the Regal Barn Cinema opened up some prime space for a restaurant or small footprint store
• Rumors continue to swirl about Trader Joe's looking at space north of Doylestown
• Could Chick-Fil-A be looking space on 611?
