Missing Disoriented Elderly Man Located by Central Bucks Police

An 86-year-old Chester County man who went missing en route to the doctor was located by a vigilant Central Bucks Regional Police officer.

Doylestown, PA - Police in Doylestown helped locate a disoriented man who was reported missing Friday from Chester County.

According to an announcement from the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, 86-year-old Porter May of East Goshen Township was found safe by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department on Easton Road.

He was reported missing Friday morning and found later that day by a Central Bucks Regional Police Department officer.

His family reported him missing after he left for a doctor’s appointment and never arrived.

The officer who located May was following him in his Ford Crown Victoria and ran his tag, which had been entered into NCIC in reference to the case.

“The police officer made contact with Mr. May who was disoriented and unaware of his current location,” according to the announcement by Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department.

May was transported back to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, where we was expected to be picked up by family members
