Musical Season Opens This Month At Central Bucks

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The spotlight is set to shine across the Central Bucks School District as students take the stage for an exciting lineup of high school and middle school musicals from Feb. 28 through April 18.

From Dr. Seuss favorites and Disney hits to Broadway classics and contemporary productions, Central Bucks students will present a high-energy season of performances that showcase creativity, teamwork, and musical talent.

Each production highlights months of student dedication both on stage and behind the scenes, allowing the community to support student performers while experiencing high-quality live theatre close to home. The public is invited to enjoy the shows.

Middle Schools

Middle school productions begin in early March with Seussical Jr., Frozen Jr., Descendants, Guys and Dolls, and High School Musical Jr., offering fun, family-friendly performances across the district.

• The Lenape Players will present Seussical Jr. on March 5, 6, and 7.
• The Holicong Colonial Players will present Disney’s Frozen Jr. on March 5 and 6 at 7 p.m.; and March 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• The Tamanend Players will present Guys and Dolls on March 6 at 7 p.m. and March 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• The Tohickon Players will perform Descendants on March 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and March 14 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• The Unami Encores will perform High School Musical Jr. on March 13 at 7 p.m., March 14 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and March 15 at 1 p.m.

High Schools

The district's three high schools will continue the excitement with student-driven productions and full-scale musicals from late February through April.

• The Patriot Players at CB East will present Finding Nemo Jr. Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. and March 1 at 2 p.m., and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on March 27 and 28 at 7 p.m., and March 29 at 2 p.m.
• The Titan Thespians at CB South will present Once Upon a One More Time (High School Edition) on April 17 at 7:30 p.m. and April 18 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• The Harlequin Club at CB West will present Chicago on March 27 and 28 at 7 p.m., and March 29 at 2 p.m.
