New School Year Starting Next Week In Bucks Co.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The last few days of summer break are coming to a close as students return to classes in most Bucks County on Monday.

With Labor Day a little later this year, most school districts are starting the 2026-27 school year before the holiday that marks the "unofficial end" of summer.

These are the school districts in Central and Upper Bucks County starting school on Monday or just after:

• Centennial School District — The first day of school for all K-12 students is Monday.
• Central Bucks School District — The first day of school for grades K, 6th, 7th, 9th, and 10th is Monday. The first day of school for all other grades is Tuesday.
• Council Rock School District — The first day of school for grades K-6, 7, and 9 is Monday. The first day of school for all other grades is Tuesday.
• Middle Bucks Institute of Technology — The first day of school is Monday.
• New Hope-Solebury — The first day of school for all K-12 students is Monday.
• Palisades — The first day of school is Monday.
• Pennridge —The first day of school is Monday.
• Quakertown Community School District — The first day of school is Monday.
• Upper Bucks County Technical School — The first day of school is Monday.
