DOYLESTOWN, PA — The magic of Harry Potter is coming to downtown Doylestown.

The town's newest retail store - "Wizarding Ways and More"- is scheduled to open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 at 46 East State Street next to Frost Lounge and across from Rakki Ramen.

Tucked inside an alleyway storefront, "Wizarding Ways" carries an extensive selection of Harry Potter-inspired clothing and novelty items for adults and children, all celebrating the seven Harry Potter fantasy novels penned by British author J.K. Rowling.

Before teaming up to purchase Snugglebunny, Jason worked for 25 years selling theatrical supplies. He grew up in western Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh. Robert grew up in Richboro and is a graduate of Council Rock High School. He works for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

"I fell in love with the (Harry Potter) books after reading them and I thought this would be a fun shop to have," said Jason, who has been dreaming of opening his own Harry Potter store for a long time. "We finally found a space and decided, 'Let's do it.' So here we are."

Their newest venture celebrates everything Harry Potter from books filled with spells to invisibility cloaks, robes, and Harry Potter-inspired scarfs, sweaters, and ties.

"We have a little bit of everything," says Jason, from key chains, mugs, notepads, and a Hogwarts cookie jar to "things for the kids," including onesies and rompers from their Peddler's Village store.

The store also carries an extensive selection of t-shirts, in addition to Harry Potter-inspired tea, including Butterbeer, Cauldron Cakes, and Draught of Living Death.

The store also sells House and Quidditch sweaters from Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff; magical candles that change color as they burn; day planners; and books containing magical spells, instructions on how to cook for wizards and dragons, and a guide to magical studies.

They even carry a limited edition prop replica of the Nimbus 2000.

And there's more to come, promises Jason. "We will soon have chocolate frogs and chocolate wands," he said.

"What's great about Harry Potter is that no matter who you are or what your interests are or what your personality is like, there's a character or set of characters from the stories that are relatable and that inspire you to be a better person," said Robert.

"When we had a wizard corner at the Snugglebunny that was the fun part for me because we had all these customers coming in and sharing their stories about going to the midnight releases, dressing up, and talking to us about their favorite characters," added Jason.

"I want to recreate that here," he adds. "Doylestown doesn't have something fun and magical like this. It's not your everyday shop."

Robert adds, "Please step in for a moment of magic. There's a little something here for everyone. You never know what you might find."
