PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department teamed up with the Salt Box on Tuesday for its second annual "Pretzels With The Police."

The event drew a crowd to the Easton Road business, which specializes in gourmet Philadelphia-style pretzels, breakfast sandwiches, and Sweet Pea ice cream.

The event, which brought families and residents together with local law enforcement, offered a new and tasty twist on community policing while building stronger relationships and creating a safer, more connected community.

"The Plumstead Township Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Salt Box and the entire community for making our second annual Pretzels with the Police event a
resounding success," said Chief David Mettin.

"We are truly grateful for your participation and support, which means the world to us," said the chief. "It's events like these that bring us closer together and foster a sense of community. We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did!"
