Doylestown Farmers Market Reopens With New Additions

Joining the lineup this year will be an "exciting array" of new vendors, the market has announced.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA —The popular Doylestown Farmers Market will reopen for its 51st season on Saturday, April 18, bringing fresh produce, delicious baked goods, and so much more to South Hamilton Street in downtown Doylestown.

"We've added more food and craft vendors that we're excited for you to meet," said market organizers. "Plus, your favorite regular food and craft vendors are returning!"

Beginning this weekend, the market will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 21.

Joining the lineup this year will be an "exciting array" of new vendors, the market has announced. They include:

  • Bacon-On-A-Stick will fill the air with local bacon in a variety of flavors.
  • VernaFern from the Main Street Marketplace will be making fresh pasta and seasonal sauces from the market's produce.
  • First Fruits Farm is bringing pasture-raised meats.
  • Hoffman Bread will tempt shoppers with croissants and other pastries - just to name a few.

Adding to the market cheer will be Facenda Spirits with its limoncello, Battleground Distilling with whiskey offerings, Colony Meadery with its signature mead, and Unionville Vineyards with its Pennsylvania wine.

They will be joining the market's cornerstone farmers and vendors, including Trauger's Farm, Love Grows CSA, Pan's Forest, Spring Creek Farm, Wildemore Farm, Roastwell Coffee, Apple Ridge Farm & Sourdough Bakery, Jersey Pickles, Noshes by Sherri, among others.

"Each week you'll be able to purchase produce, meat, eggs, fruit, coffee and tea, pasta and sauces, alcohol, bread, pastry, cakes and cookies for a treat, gift or holiday, kombucha and fermented foods, goat cheese, mushrooms, granola, honey, hot sauce, soap, aromatherapy products and handcrafted gifts," said market managers.

The market is known for having the finest fruits, vegetables, breads, pastry, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, eggs, coffee, among other necessities.

"Throughout the season you'll also find herbal tea, chocolate, ceramics, locally grown pigments for artists, tallow skin care and soap, cutting boards and other wood products and a vast array of other locally handcrafted items too numerous to list."

Every Saturday, the market brings in live musical entertainment and offers a free children's craft. The market is also dog-friendly with several vendors specializing in doggie treats.

New market merchandise is available this year, including market bags, sweatshirts, baseball hats, and more in exciting new colors. Did someone say orange and navy blue?
