There's some very cool news to report from a number of Bucks County summer favorites. In addition, a new outside bar is making its debut.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — While Bucks County sizzles through the first heat wave of the season, there's some very cool news to report from a number of Bucks County summer favorites.
This week, popular artisan ice cream store Owowcow announced its expansion to the New Jersey shore through a partnership with Cape Resorts.
Ice cream lovers are now able to purchase the award-winning small-batch ice cream at three locations in Cape May operated by Cape Resorts, in addition to the brand’s five local shops in Chalfont, Wrightstown, Lambertville, Ottsville and Easton.

Another popular Bucks County summer favorite - Nina's Waffles & Ice Cream - chose this week to announce plans for its sixth location. Get ready Chalfont. You'll soon be enjoying Nina's authentic Liege waffles and hand-crafted ice cream.
Nina’s pasteurizes its own artisanal ice cream at its dairy plant in Bucks County. And its authentic Liege-style waffles are made from their own recipe in-house using imported pearl sugar.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has announced its early summer line-up of new frozen treats.
The Bensalem-based company of sweet treats has introduced its new Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Italian Ice with its iconic sweet taste of tropical fruits. The partnership was brokered by Kraft Heinz exclusive licensing agency, Brand Central.

Owowcow, Bucks County’s uber-popular premium ice cream brand, has expanded its reach to the Jersey Shore. Ice cream lovers are now able to purchase the award-winning small-batch ice cream at three locations in Cape May operated by Cape Resorts, in addition to the artisan ice cream brand’s five local shops in Chalfont, Wrightstown, Lambertville, Ottsville and Easton. Owowcow is currently developing a proprietary flavor made with ingredients sourced from Cape Resorts’ Beach Plum Farm, but right now Tommy's Folly Ice Cream Parlour in Congress Hall is scooping eight handmade, locally-sourced flavors, including: Madagascar Vanilla, I Hate Chocolate, Blueberry Lemon, Cookie Monstah, Cookies & Cream, Almond Coconut, Cinnamon Bourbon, and Vegan Vanilla Caramel. Nina's Waffles And Ice Cream To Open New Location
It's official. Nina's Waffles & Ice Cream will soon be opening its sixth location in Chalfont, announced Donald Bradley and Alexis Zanias on Facebook. “The rumors are true! Manhattan Bagel in Chalfont has a new roommate,” Nina’s said. “Now you can get your coffee and bagels at Manhattan Bagel in Chalfont during the day and when they close, Nina’s Waffles & Ice cream opens. Nina’s Waffles & Ice Cream in Chalfont will open daily at 3 p.m.” Nina’s, which has five locations in Bucks County, is known for its authentic Liege waffles & hand crafted ice cream. Rita’s Unveils New Flavor In Early Summer Lineup
Staying on the cool treat theme, Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has announced its early summer line-up. The Bensalem-based company has introduced its new Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Italian Ice with its iconic sweet taste of tropical fruits. The partnership was brokered by Kraft Heinz exclusive licensing agency, Brand Central. The new flavor is offered at all Rita's locations for a limited time and is sure to have guests saying, “Oh Yeah!,” the best phrase to represent the delicious taste of Kool-Aid. Rita's Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Italian Ice will be featured in a 5-Layer Gelati, which combines Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Ice with layers of creamy Vanilla Custard and is topped with rainbow sprinkles for an extra burst of color and flavor. Stella Of New Hope Unveils New Outdoor Bar
Just ahead of its five-year anniversary and to officially welcome the summer season, Stella of New Hope is introducing a new outdoor bar and additional outdoor seating options for guests seeking al fresco dining and imbibing.Located on the ground floor, the new outdoor bar area offers diverse seating arrangements, including a selection of high-top tables and regular tables on a covered patio, plus six tables with sprawling umbrellas have been added to the Waterfront Terrace, adjacent to the manicured grassy knoll. The tables with umbrellas offer full-service dining, requiring guests to check in at the host stand for seating.
