PA Winter Weather Update: Snow, Rain Possible For Thursday Morning Commute
A half inch of snow could stick in Bucks and Montgomery counties; accumulation of up to 3 inches is possible north of I-78.

The Thursday morning commute in parts of Eastern Pennsylvania could be slippery, as some winter weather is headed to the region overnight.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook, saying periods of snow could make for poor travel conditions Thursday morning in Upper Bucks, Western Montgomery, Western Chester, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
A half-inch of snow could stick in Bucks and Montgomery counties; accumulation of up to 3 inches is possible north of I-78. Even in Philadelphia and the surrounding area, where no accumulation is expected, snow showers mixed with rain could make for a messy morning commute.

The good news is forecasters predict a mainly clear holiday weekend. Those going out to celebrate the New Year should be spared from more winter weather.

Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. West wind 9 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
