Central Bucks Fire Prevention Expo Returns To Doylestown (patch.com) — Doylestown families can connect with local firefighters, EMTs, police, and other first responders at the Central Bucks Fire Prevention Expo on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Central Park on Wells Road. From 3 to 7 p.m., visitors can explore emergency vehicles, watch demonstrations, and learn practical fire prevention tips in a hands-on, family-friendly setting focused on community safety.
   

2. VIA Announces Plans For Fall Card And Game Party In Doylestown (patch.com) — Doylestown residents are invited to the Village Improvement Association's Annual Card and Game Party, supporting health initiatives in the central Bucks community. The Oct. 16 gathering at the James-Lorah Memorial Home offers lunch, raffles, and a friendly afternoon of bridge, canasta, mah-jongg, and other games right in the heart of town.
   

3. Free Vows And Veterans Ceremony Set For November In Bucks County (patch.com) — Doylestown will host the sixth annual Vows and Veterans celebration at the Bucks County Administration Building, offering free weddings and vow renewals for couples including a veteran or first responder. From photography and live music to lunch and flowers, the event provides a full wedding experience, with registration and marriage license deadlines approaching for interested Doylestown-area couples.

Photos: A look inside Doylestown's newest bar The Still (phillyburbs.com) — Doylestown Borough just welcomed The Still, a new pub connected by a hidden phone-booth doorway to the Doylestown Inn and The Hattery. The bar features Pennsylvania-made spirits, a barbecue-style scratch menu, outdoor alley seating, and a mural honoring the inn's historic Jug in the Wall bar, giving locals a fresh spot to eat, drink, and explore downtown.
