Under the $3.9 million safety improvement project, PennDOT is building two adjacent single-lane roundabouts at the intersections of Easton Road and New Britain Road/Sauerman Road. The roundabouts include new drainage and sidewalks; ADA-compliant crossings; bicycle facilities, lighting, and full-depth pavement reconstruction.
James D. Morrissey, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
