Pedestrian Killed In Early-Morning Hit-And-Run In Warrington

Breaking: A pedestrian was killed in an early-morning hit and run in Warrington. Charges have been filed against the driver.

WARRINGTON, PA —A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday on County Line Road in Warrington, police said. Homicide by vehicle charges have been filed against the driver, 53-year-old Duane Davis, who police allege was DUI when he left the scene of the crash.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. Police are working to notify the victim's family members.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on County Line Road near Upper State Road.

Davis, who fled the scene, was later taken into custody at his residence in Telford and arraigned.

He is in Bucks County jail after failing to make bail, which was set at 10 percent of $500,000.

The road was closed for several hours following the crash. It reopened just before 6 a.m.
