Penn State Coach Flies In To Visit Central Bucks Football Standout
Coach Franklin visited with a player at East and then greeted the school's staff and students.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — That chopper you heard on Friday in the area of Central Bucks East High School was James Franklin, the head coach of the Penn State football program, coming in for a landing and then taking off.
Franklin, a Neshaminy graduate and Langhorne native, was making a visit to the Bucks County high school to meet with Michael Carroll, a junior Central Bucks East offensive lineman and son of Michael Carroll Sr. who played for the Nittany Lions in the 1990s.
Carroll is being heavily recruited by numerous college football programs, including his dad's alma mater.
