Person Killed By SEPTA Train On Doylestown Line, Expect Delays

Breaking: A person was struck and killed by a SEPTA train Friday. Expect delays of up to an hour on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Service on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line was disrupted Friday afternoon after a person was killed on the tracks. It's the second fatality in the area due to a SEPTA train in two days.

Around 3 p.m., SEPTA announced there service was suspended on the line due to a fatality near Jenkintown. Abington Police were on the scene.

As of 4:15 p.m., service has resumed on a limited basis. Passengers should expect delays of up to an hour.
