Philadelphia Man Faces Felony Theft Charges In Warrington
Police have accused the 70-year-old man of stealing merchandise from a township store.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man faces felony theft charges after police said he stole merchandise from the Walmart store in Warrington.
On March 16 at approximately 7:47 p.m., Warrington Police responded to the store located at 299
Valley Gate Drive for the report of a retail theft in progress. The store's loss prevention officer told police that a man, who was later identified as Glenn Whiting from Philadelphia, selected $318.51 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying.
Police said Whiting was located a short time later hiding in some bushes near the store.

During a search of Whiting, officers said they found narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Whiting was also found to have a warrant from Warrington Police for a retail theft in June.
Whiting was transported to the station, processed, and charged with retail theft (F3), receiving stolen property (F3), possession of a controlled substance (M), and possession of drug paraphernalia (M).

Whiting was arraigned on the charges and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
