Sewer Installation Project To Close Roads In New Britain Township
The closures will impact parts of Barry and Walters roads. Detours will be posted.

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Pact One Construction will be closing Walters Road from Wednesday, March 1 to Friday, March 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the installation of sewer lines. Detour signs will be posted during the closure.
Starting on Monday, March 6 Pact One will be closing Barry Road between Railroad Avenue and New Galena Road. The work includes the installation of new gravity sewer piping.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Railroad Avenue, Sunset Avenue, Route 152 (Main Street), and New Galena Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
The closure is expected to last about four weeks. Construction will be taking place between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
