Plumsteadville Village Poised for Next Phase of Renaissance
Several high-profile opportunities for small businesses & restaurants to get visibility in the #1 growth corridor in Southeast Pennsylvania
Business owners looking expand their markets or start a new endeavor need look no further than the upward-moving potential of Plumsteadville Village, nestled between the shopping destinations of Doylestown, Lahaska, and New Hope in picturesque Bucks County.
The Plumsteadville Village business and resident community were sorry to lose Carroll's Seafood last year, and recently Petro Bros. Auto. But the two neighboring properties make for an excellent opportunity for growth.

Plumsteadville Village has been going through a renaissance over the past few years. Summer 2017 saw the opening of a new standalone Rite Aid store at 5707 Easton Road. With its village-inspired architecture and ample parking, the new Rite Aid store solidified the continuity of the southern-most gateway to Plumsteadville Village. In addition to the prime development locations, Plumstead Shopping Center, at 5790 Easton Road, has a high-visibility storefront available. The entire center was upgraded and redesigned in 2016, and added a new Dunkin Donuts. It also welcomed an express Japanese restaurant, which opened in December 2017. There is additional development opportunity on the east side of Rt. 611 (at 5814 Easton Road).
Plumsteadville Village businesses continue to benefit from their close relationship with Plumstead Township. The Township has dedicated 2018 funding for a planner to bring to life a vision for new sidewalks, lighting, signage, and other elements to improve the shopability of the village businesses, allowing for safe pedestrian crossing, while enabling traffic flow on busy State Route 611. More than 10,000 cars pass through Plumsteadville Village on Rt. 611 (according to private and municipal studies).
