Portion Of Swamp Road To Be Repaved In Wrightstown, Buckingham

The work will take place between Rushland-Jamison Road and the Doylestown Township line.

BUCKS COUNTY — A portion of Swamp Road is scheduled to be milled and repaved in Wrightstown and Buckingham townships weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Monday, Sept. 19 and Friday, Oct. 7.

The work will take place between Rushland-Jamison Road and the Doylestown Township line.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because lane closures and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under this resurfacing project, PennDOT will be milling and repaving more than 200 miles of state highway across the region. The new pavement will seal the roadway and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
