An EF1 tornado with winds up to 100 miles per hour blew through Bucks County on Thursday night, the National Weather Service confirmed.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — An EF1 tornado with winds up to 100 miles per hour blew through Upper Bucks on Thursday night, the National Weather Service confirmed on Friday afternoon.
No one was injured, the NWS said Friday.
The tornado began along Souderton Road in Hilltown Township at 9:48 p.m. Thursday. It traveled northeast into Bedminster Township for about two miles and dissipated after four minutes, the NWS said.

At maximum, the tornado was 100 yards wide.
The winds uprooted and snapped a number of trees, and caused cosmetic damage to several homes.

Storm survey teams planned to examine damage along Route 113 from Silverdale up past Dublin into Bedminster, according to the NWS.
Bedminster Township Police officers are going door-to-door and checking on residents, the department said. Bedminster Road is closed between Elephant Road and Bucks Road, Township Police said.
No injuries have been reported in Bedminster as of 10:20 Friday morning, police said.

BEDMINSTER TWP., PA — A possible tornado caused damage in Bedminster Township Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS said it will conduct a storm survey on Friday in the area near Silverdale and Bedminster Township.
The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area late Thursday. A final assessment should be available sometime Friday, the NWS said.
The NWS issued a tornado warning for Bucks County until 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
The NWS Mount Holly office said it will update the public on storm damage near Bedminster. Reported damage included wires down, snapped poles and trees, and impassable roads, according to the NWS.
