Pothole Repairs, PECO Utility Work To Impact Roads In Central Bucks
This week, motorists in Central Bucks can expect delays on the following area roadways and bridges.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Motorists can expect delays on the following area roadways due to pothole maintenance repairs, a bridge rehabilitation project, and PECO utility work.
Pothole Repair Work
This week, PennDOT repair crews will be filling potholes and conducting roadway maintenance on the following roadways:

- Route 413 (Durham Road), Buckingham Township
- Rushland Road, Warwick and Wrightstown townships
- Forest Grove Road, Buckingham Township
- Curley Hill Road, Plumstead Township
- Stump Road, Plumstead Township
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups
and delays may occur. PennDOT reminds motorists that potholes and other concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”. Since January 1, PennDOT has used more than 1,400 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Roundabout Construction in Doylestown

- Easton Road and New Britain/Sauerman Road in Doylestown Township. Construction continues through the summer on the construction of two roundabouts. New Britain Road is reduced to one lane between Easton Road and Rolling Hill Boulevard. During the lane closure, motorists will be directed to use Lower State Road, U.S. 202, and Easton Road. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
PECO Utility Work In New Britain
- Continuing through Wednesday, June 26, PECO will be conducting utility work on County Line Road between Lexington Avenue and Walnut Street and between Maple Avenue and Trewigtown Road in New Britain Township. A weekday lane closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent. PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
Bridge Rehabilitation
- The rehabilitation of the New Hope-Lambertville Free Bridge continues through September. New Jersey-bound vehicles are being detoured via the Route 202 bridge. West bound traffic into Pennsylvania will continue to use the bridge. The walkway will remain open throughout the project.
Utility Work In Plumstead And Bedminster
- PECO Energy will be performing utility work on the following four state highways in Bucks County through April 1. Look for weekly lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 413 (Durham Road) between Dark Hollow Road and Stump Road in Bedminster and Plumstead; Route 611 (Easton Road) between Quarry and Spruce Hill roads in Bedminster; Creek Road between Quarry and Wismer Road, Bedminster; and Wismer Road between Stump and Point Pleasant Road in Plumstead Township. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
