Quakertown Band To Perform Free Concert Wednesday In Doylestown

The Doylestown Sounds of Summer Concert Series continues Wednesday with a performance by the Quakertown Band. The free concert starts at 7 p.m. at Central Park.
About Quakertown Band: The Quakertown Band is Bucks County’s oldest musical organization, celebrating more than 135 years of performing! They are comprised of 45 musicians of all ages, both amateur and semi-professional. Their program includes overtures, Broadway and movie show tunes, big band, swing, and Dixieland music.
The free concert series is sponsored by Doylestown township and borough.

Winners of Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” competition in Philadelphia, The Mango Men are a local favorite! Inspired by greats such as Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffet and Bruce Springsteen, they perform everything from rock, to pop, to country. They will take you from the Boardwalk to Key West all in one night!
Interactive Sing-A-Long Movie “Grease”
When: August 12 at Central Park, 8:00 pm
Get ready for a fun-filled evening as we gather under the stars for “Grease” on the big screen! Get out your poodle skirt and blue jeans and take part in an interactive sing-a-long as the movie comes to life and the “characters” get us up and dancing. See “Grease” like you never have before! Rating: PG-13. Prizes given for best dressed and dancing.
