Road Resurfacing Continues Along Butler Ave. In Chalfont, New Britain

NEW BRITAIN/CHALFONT, PA — Milling and paving operations continue along Butler Avenue between County Line Road in New Britain Township and New Britain Road in Doylestown Township. Work is taking place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through May 17.

Motorists can expect periodic lane closures during the day with flagging in New Britain Borough, Chalfont Borough and New Britain Township. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone because slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Under the project, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving the roadway with new asphalt pavement that will seal it and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
