Car Fire, 2-Vehicle Crash Reported On Rt. 611 In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —The Doylestown Township Police Department dealt with a vehicle fire and a two-vehicle crash in separate incidents late Monday afternoon.

Doylestown Township Police said northbound Route 611 was closed at State Street around 5 p.m. Monday for a vehicle fire near the highway's exit.

Police said the road was reopened a half hour later.

Meanwhile, police were also investigating a two-vehicle traffic accident in the center lane of Easton Road just north of Edison-Furlong Road around 5:45 p.m. Monday. Traffic was backed up in the area.

No injuries were reported in either incident.
