Roving DUI Patrols To Hit The Road Thanksgiving Eve In Bucks County
DUI patrols will be covering a 16-mile stretch of Street Road from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — On Thanksgiving Eve, police in Bucks County will be conducting roving DUI patrols along Street Road from Bensalem to Warrington Township.
The DUI patrol will cover a 16-mile stretch and is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Officers trained in standard field-sobriety testing and checkpoints will be working the patrols.
Participating departments include Warrington Township, Bensalem, Lower Southampton, Upper Southampton, Newtown Borough and Richland Township.
The Wednesday night before Thanksgiving is a cultural phenomenon called “Thanksgiving Eve,”
an evening associated with drinking and a big night for bars.

- Plan ahead and designate a sober driver before the first drink.
- Use public transportation, a taxi or a ride share service.
