Another Chance Of Northern Lights In Pa. Tuesday, Forecasters Say

Conditions for seeing Aurora borealis, or Northern Lights, will be "good" Tuesday night, Accuweather reports.

A rare G3 magnetic storm happening this week could make the Northern Lights visible again Tuesday in Pennsvlvania, according to Accuweather.

On Monday, the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, said “highly active auroral displays will be visible overhead” as far south as Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey, weather permitting.

Accuweather is reporting conditions for seeing Aurora borealis, or Northern Lights, will be ”good” in Pennsvlvania and New Jersey Tuesday, as well.

“Tuesday night will bring another chance for people in Canada and the northern United States to see the northern lights as an influx of charges particles from the sun interacts with the earth’s atmosphere,” Accuweather reports.

Clear skies throughout the region will increase the chances of catching a glimpse of the phenomenon.
