No Tax Increase in $290.7M Central Bucks Budget

The Central Bucks School Board approved a $290,683,982 final budget for 2013-2014.

The Central Bucks School Board this week approved a $290.7M final budget for 2013-2014.

The final budget, which is $290,683,982, was passed by resolution Tuesday. The real estate tax rate will remain at 122.8 mills.

The real estate transfer tax and earned income tax rates will remain the same at 1 percent.

This was the first time since 1993 that property taxes in the Central Bucks School District will not increase.

Taxes in 2011-2012 increased by $65 and in 2012-2013, taxes went up $80 on average, Phillyburbs.com reported.
