School Board to Vote on New Teacher Contract Tuesday

The meeting will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Bucks Educational Services Center.

The Central Bucks School Board is scheduled to vote Tuesday on a collective bargaining agreement between the district and the Central Bucks Education Association.

The tentative agreement, which district officials called “fair and affordable,” is a four-year contract that includes teacher salary increases with a maximum annual average of 2.81 percent, or 11.25 percent over four years.

Additionally, under the agreement, there will be increased teacher contributions toward medical and prescription costs resulting in $1.3 million in health care savings, district officials said.
