School Board Vote on Teacher Contract Postponed
The vote was originally scheduled for Aug. 26 but due to scheduling conflicts, it has been postponed until September.

The school board vote on an agreement between the Central Bucks School District and the Central Bucks Education Association has been rescheduled until Sept. 9. The vote was originally scheduled for Aug. 26 but due to scheduling conflicts, it has been postponed.
District officials said there would be no impact on the start of school, as the current contract, which was supposed to expire June 30, has been extended until the new contact is approved.
In July, the district announced it had reached a tentative agreement on a new teachers contract, just weeks after, Central Bucks School District Superintendent David Weitzel said there was a “strong possibility” of a teacher strike in the fall.
