SEPTA Announces New Regional Rail Schedule Beginning On Sunday
Transit authority details schedule changes on the Doylestown-Lansdale line.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — New timetables will take effect on Sunday, Jan. 7 on SEPTA's Regional Rail Lines, including the Doylestown/Lansdale line.
Riders are encouraged to check the schedules for new departure and arrival times.

Weekday Inbound To Center City
- Train 6591: The 6:37 a.m. departure from Doylestown will depart at 6:34 a.m. operating 1 to 3 minutes EARLIER at all stations Doylestown to Ambler, arriving at Suburban Station at 7:48 a.m.
- Train 5207: The 7:05 a.m. departure from Doylestown will stop at Jenkintown-Wyncote and arrive at Suburban Station five minutes LATER at 8:36 a.m.
- Train 6599: The 6:03 p.m. Suburban Station arrival is renumbered 5399 and will operate 36 minutes LATER, departing Lansdale at 5:46 p.m. and arriving at Suburban Station at 6:39 p.m.
- Train 6543: The 11:04 p.m. Link Belt departure is extended to restore late-night inbound service from Doylestown and Delaware Valley University. The train will depart Doylestown at 10:56 p.m. and Delaware Valley University at 10:59 p.m. and make all local stops to Center City Philadelphia.
Weekday Outbound To Doylestown/Lansdale

- Train 2530: The 9:09 p.m. Suburban Station departure is extended from Link Belt to Doylestown, making station stops at Chalfont, New Britain, Delaware Valley University and Doylestown, arriving at 10:36 p.m.
Weekend Inbound To Center City
- All weekend inbound trains are adjusted and will operate 1 minute EARLIER at stations between Doylestown and Gwynedd Valley. Please consult the timetable for new station times.
Weekend Outbound To Lansdale/Doylestown
- All weekend outbound trains are adjusted and will operate 1 to 3 minutes LATER between Fern Rock Transportation Center and all stations en route to Lansdale/Doylestown. Please consult the timetable for new station times
The updates will also impact the following lines: Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Glenside, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Wawa, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton and Wilmington/Newark.
Significant schedule changes include:
- Chestnut Hill East: Six midday trains restored to provide weekday hourly service
- Wilmington/Newark: Significant adjustments to accommodate Amtrak state of good repair bridge work in the Chester area
- Warminster: Significant adjustments due to Willow Grove Station construction
The schedule changes will maintain Regional Rail service at 77 percent of pre-COVID levels. Regional Rail ridership has returned gradually and is currently at about 58 percent of pre-pandemic levels, according to SEPTA.
