Shannon Angel Mathers, CB South Grad, Passes Away At 21

Shannon Angel Mathers of Warrington Pa. passed away at the age of 21 from a tragic accident that took place in State College, Pa. on Friday, May 20, 2016.

Shannon was the loving daughter of William and Patricia Mathers, and sister of Sarah Mathers.

She was a 2013 graduate of CB South. There she participated in Symphonic Band and Choir. Shannon played basketball and softball for WWAA and CYO. She was currently a student at Penn State University, where she volunteered as an EMT with Centre LifeLink EMS and worked at Bradley's Restaurant in addition to the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Shannon was previously employed as a server at Ann's Choice and was awarded a scholarship.

In addition to her parents and sister, Shannon is survived by her paternal grandmother, Anne Baker, and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Holmes. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
