PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A shelter in place has been issued in the area of 6100 Easton Road in Plumstead Township following a hazardous materials incident Monday, Dec. 31.

According to authorities, the Plumsteadville Fire Department, The Bucks County Hazmat Team and the Plumstead Township Police Department are on scene of the hazardous materials incident.
As a precaution, residents within a half of a mile of 6100 Easton Road are asked to shelter in place.

"As of now there are no road closures to report, but there is emergency vehicles in the area," police said in an 8:15 a.m. announcement.
