Sign & Shine, Earth Angel Awards To Launch Breast Cancer Fundraising Month In Bucks

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Standing beneath a pink arch at Thompson Toyota in Doylestown, Main St. (formerly Pine2Pink) will kick off its 9th year of fundraising for the Bucks County breast cancer community.

This year Main St.’s launch event on September 29 will feature the Main St. Sandy Roberts Earth Angel Awards, the Thompson Sign and Shine and a luminary stroll from 6:30 to 8 p.m. featuring live music from Rebekah Massey and Nook, Nook Music School.

Three recipients will receive the Main St. Sandy Roberts Earth Angel Award for their impact on the breast cancer community. This year’s presenters and award winners are:

Everyone in attendance will be invited to sign the illuminated pink arch at Thompson with messages to honor and support loved ones affected by breast cancer.

Thompson's Sign and Shine event is scheduled for Sept. 29 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Returning as title sponsor this year is the Thompson Organization with Giovanni’s Fine Fashions as the presenting sponsor.

Since its founding, Main St. has raised more than $830,000 and helped more than 3,500 local breast cancer patients and their families. The beneficiaries of this year’s fundraising efforts will be Bucks County breast cancer patients cared for at Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham, St. Luke’s/Grand View Hospital, Kin Wellness and Support Center, Penn Medicine Doylestown Health Cancer Institute and Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic St. Mary Medical Center.
