Six Roads Targeted For Pothole Repair This Week In Bucks County

Motorists encouraged to report potholes at www.penndot.pa.gov or by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — PennDOT maintenance crews will be working to repair more than 40 deteriorated pavements across the five-county Philadelphia region this week, including six in Bucks County.

Motorists who use the following roads can expect delays while roving work crews repair the highways:

  • Route 32 (River Road), Solebury and Upper Makefield townships;
  • Route 611 (Easton Road), Plumstead and Bedminster townships;
  • Allentown Road, West Rockhill and Milford townships;
  • Center Hill Road, Nockamixon Township;
  • Sugar Bottom Road, Warwick Township; and
  • Edison Furlong Road, Buckingham and Doylestown townships.

Travel lanes will be restricted as crews patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of the moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.

PennDOT reminds motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.

As of January 1, PennDOT has used 2,002 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
