"Because Firstrust recovered the devices and turned them over to the authorities, and the devices do not appear to have had a method of transmitting data other than within the device itself, the bank does not believe any customer information has been compromised. However, in an abundance of caution, Firstrust is in the process of issuing new ATM cards to all potentially impacted customers. Any affected customer that thinks they have unauthorized use should contact Firstrust for restitution as is normal in any situation of unauthorized card activity," according to a statement sent to Patch.
