Facebook and Instagram users are catching on and are updating their profile pictures with her Stay Home Save Lives image in order to share and show their support. Weber describes the fundraiser as a ‘Donate What You Can’ campaign. “Any amount, from $5 to $50 or more, will help protect the health of those working so diligently to protect every one of us and our neighbors.” She chose the established non-profit Direct Relief as the recipient for the funds raised as they are a humanitarian aid organization active in all 50 states with a top rating by Charity Navigator. This gives peace of mind to herself and donors knowing that their dollars will make an impact and help secure much needed personal protection equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers.
