DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The first ever Storyhood is coming to Puck on Saturday, March 4.

The experiential and intimate evening, presented by Daisy Chain Events, Sacred Vice Brewing, Servis Events, and the Mercer Museum, will feature homegrown food and plenty of stories about Doylestown.

Appearing before a live audience, four local storytellers - David Hall, Doreen Stratton, Meg Groff, and Brian Boger - will share a personal Doylestown tale in five to eight minutes.

"The story can be heartwarming, heartbreaking, raunchy, or nice, but it has to have happened right here in Doylestown," said Storyhood creator, Joe Montone of Daisy Chain. He continues, "From living here my whole life, I know we all have some stories. And in such a small town, we all walk the same streets. So, what happens when we get to see our town through a different lens?"

The production is a new installment in Montone's 12 plus years of community building programming in Doylestown.

"I'm excited to finally present this because I know how much it will mean to our town," he said. "I'm thrilled to finally have a stage and team to present it with."

Last year, Joe and Doylestown-native Sean McGuinness became Daisy Chain Events as a way of fostering new cultural connections in Doylestown. Their collaborative efforts began by launching the outdoor pop-up Garden Bar at Puck with Philadelphia-owned Sacred Vice Brewing.

They have since become co-operators of the indoor Puck venue revitalizing the abandoned space as a hub for live performance, gathering, and collaborations with the wider community.

Through that collaborative spirit, Daisy Chain is teaming up with Nic and Steve Servis of Servis Events to present "Storyhood." This identical-twin brother private chef team has crafted a four-course seasonal menu full of local ingredients for the special evening.

"We are super excited to bring everyone together through our passion for food and community driven experience," said Nic.

The Mercer Museum will also be featured as part of Storyhood. Museum representatives will be onsite with a small pop exhibit in the Puck lobby which will represent local history in Doylestown.

"We intend this to become a series where we present food and stories from our backyard," says
Montone,."I hope this breaks the ice for audience members to meet, or be inspired to tell their own stories. Something where we can learn from each other and the town we call home."

Puck's Storyhood takes place on Saturday, March 4 at 7 p.m. Pre-registration is required for this
