Suspected Criminal Escapes From Doylestown Court Room, Crosses 611
The man was at a hearing on charges he burglarized a home on Shady Retreat Road home and tied a up a woman.

A handcuffed and shackled man escaped through a Doylestown Township district courtroom window and crossed Route 611 Monday afternoon, according to reports.
The Intelligencer reported that Scott E. Wills, who was at his preliminary hearing on charges he broke into a Doylestown Township home and tied a woman up, was located around 1 p.m. in a wooded area behind the Barn Plaza movie theater.
Wills, 55, was in a holding room when he escaped into the empty courtroom and went out through a window, The Intelligencer said.

His escape caused alarm among drivers, as he was wearing a yellow jumpsuit with the word ‘Inmate,’ the report said
Wills has been in Bucks County jail since June 5, when he led police on a two-hour long search after breaking into a woman’s Shady Retreat Road home. He tied her up and stole items before fleeing, police said
