Suspicious Gas Station Encounter Leads To Meth Arrest In Warrington

Police said they found a case inside a car containing a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Horsham woman is facing drug charges after police discovered suspected methamphetamine inside a car at a township gas station.

The incident happened on Dec. 20 at 10:42 p.m. when an officer observed suspicious activity involving four individuals and two vehicles at the Sunoco gas station.

According to police, the officer recognized the subjects from previous encounters and initiated an investigation.

During the investigation, police searched the vehicles and discovered a bag inside one of them. A further search found a Minions-themed case inside the bag containing a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine, along with two smoking pipes — one with burnt white and brown residue.

A 59-year-old woman who claimed ownership of the bag was arresteed and transported to the police station, where she was processed and later released. She is charged with prohibited acts.
