Teen Charged In Attack On 19-Year-Old Girlfriend In Warrington

Police said the girlfriend suffered multiple injuries in the assault, which happened on Street Road in the township.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 17-year-old boy is facing numerous charges after assaulting his 19-year-old girlfriend in Warrington.

Just after 3 a.m. on Feb. 13, police responded to the 2200 block of Street Road for the report of an intoxicated and unresponsive woman. When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old woman who had suffered multiple significant injuries in an assault.

Following an investigation, police arrested her 17-year-old boyfriend at the scene and transported him to the police station. He was subsequently taken to the Bucks County Youth Center.

The 19-year-old victim was transported to the Abington Hospital Trauma Center.

Police said both individuals appeared intoxicated.

The juvenile has been charged with aggravated assault, a first-degree felony; simple assault and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors; and two summary offenses, harassment and the purchase, consumption, possession, or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages.
