Tohickon Middle School Holding Used Bike Drive Saturday
A Pedals for Progress used bike drive organized by Tohickon Middle School students will be held this Saturday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A used bike and sewing machine drive will be held this Saturday, Nov. 3, at Tohickon Middle School. Seventh grade students at the school are working with the the non-profit Pedals for Progress to host the bike and sewing machine drive, which will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the school.
Adult and children's bicycles in repairable condition or better will be accepted to benefit those in developing countries. A donation toward shipping costs is necessary. The suggested donation is $10 per item.
Pedals for Progress collects 3,000 to 5,000 bicycles annually for the needy. To date, more than 155,000 bicycles and 4,200 sewing machines have been shipped to developing countries in Latin America, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
